By accessing or using HandyConnect.in ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our services. These terms apply to all users, including customers and service professionals.

2. Description of Services

HandyConnect is a platform that connects customers with home service professionals. We provide:

• A marketplace to discover and book home services
• Lead generation services connecting customers with verified professionals
• Communication tools between customers and service providers
• Customer support for service-related inquiries

HandyConnect acts as an intermediary and does not directly provide home services. All services are performed by independent service professionals.

3. User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others

4. Booking and Services

For Customers

• Service requests are subject to availability of professionals
• Pricing shown is indicative; final pricing may vary based on actual work
• You must provide accurate service requirements and access to premises
• Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before scheduled time

For Service Professionals

• Must maintain all required licenses and certifications
• Must arrive on time and complete work professionally
• Must adhere to HandyConnect's quality standards
• May not solicit customers for direct business outside the platform

5. Payments and Fees

• Payment terms are agreed upon before service commencement
• We accept various payment methods including cards and UPI
• Service professionals receive payment after service completion
• HandyConnect charges a platform fee for connecting customers with professionals
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information on cancellations and refunds. In summary:

• Free cancellation up to 2 hours before scheduled service
• Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee
• Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
• Service quality issues are addressed through our satisfaction guarantee

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content
• Attempt to interfere with platform operations
• Use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes

8. Limitation of Liability

HandyConnect is a platform connecting users with service providers. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by professionals. Our liability is limited to the platform fees paid. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HandyConnect harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on HandyConnect, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is our property or licensed to us. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Mumbai, India, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The language of arbitration shall be English.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
